There are sessions for adults of all standards at Helsby Tennis Club. We currently offer group doubles coaching for team players on a Tuesday at 7.30-9pm and a Saturday at 12-1.30pm. Beginner and rusty racket sessions take place on Wednesdays at 8-9pm and Saturdays at 9-10.30am. Our popular cardio tennis class runs at 7-8pm on Wednesdays (no tennis or fitness ability required!)Private individual and group lessons can also be arranged upon request.
Mike is currently offering doubles coaching for team players on Mondays and Fridays at 6.30-8pm. Beginner and rusty racket sessions take place on Tuesdays at 6.30-7.30 and Sundays at 7-8pm. There are also some free coaching sessions running for beginner ladies taking place on Sundays at 5-6pm. Cardio tennis is a fun fitness class which runs on Tuesdays at 7.30-8.30pm. Private individual and group sessions can also be arranged at times to suit you.
Fast track beginner’s course. This class is for players who have not played before or who want to learn basic rallying and serving.
For those who have already completed a Tennis Xpress course or have not played for a long time. Focusing on the key fundamentals such as movement, receiving skills and basic technique and tactics in both singles and doubles.
For improver and advanced players. Focusing on key tactics and strategies of doubles with some technical coaching included.
A weekly drop-in session for improvers who want to develop their technique and tactics in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. These small sessions run every Wednesday during term-time.
