Mike is head coach of Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club and Hawarden Community Tennis Club which are in North Wales and on the outskirts of Chester. He is also the head coach of Helsby Tennis Club in Cheshire.
Mike completed his LTA level 4 Senior Club coach qualification at Chester Tennis Club with Charles Applewhaite.
This qualification was a 15 day assessed course aimed at coaches who are looking to manage a section of a commercial club and a team of coaches.

He has also had an amazing coaching career, spanning over many decades coaching some of the UK’s top players. He was also the LTA’s director of coaching and holds the highest coaching qualifications.
