Hawarden Tennis Adult Programme in North Wales

Improve your game in a fun and active environment

  • Mike is very approachable, patient, encouraging individuals of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, to become the best player they can be. My overall fitness has improved significantly and together with a strict diet I have lost 4 stone in weight. Thanks to Mike’s coaching I have found a sport I really enjoy playing and still continue to improve in!

Improve your game

You may want to learn good fundamentals so you can really enjoy tennis with a friend? Perhaps that same friend is getting the better of you in matches, and you want to beat them? You may have dreams of playing and progressing through the club social tennis and leagues?

Your goals are the most important thing to us. All levels of ability are catered for.

The team is overseen by Mike Herd, who is an LTA Level 4 Tennis Coach, RPT European Professional and qualified Primary School Teacher.

Improve your health

Tennis is regarded as a game for life. This means it doesn’t have to be something you only do when you’re young or only whilst at peak health. You can enjoy playing tennis all life long, unlike a lot of other sports.

You may do other activities that burn calories, but are nowhere near as enjoyable as tennis. Tennis is a full body workout and will help you burn lots of calories, whilst having so much FUN that you’ll forget how much you are pushing yourself.

Meet new friends

It is our mission to help you meet new people and integrate you into our tennis family that welcomes all ages and abilities.

How good would it be to have new friends to battle it out against and also socialise with? You may meet your future best friend at our sessions.

We offer lots of opportunities for you to enjoy the amazing social side of tennis such as fun team competitions and off court socials.
