We are running tennis lessons at Hawarden Community Tennis Club on Thursdays for ages 5-11 years old. We are looking to introduce more sessions in January 2020.
Please see the timetable for more details. We also run extra curricular sessions for Hawarden High School pupils on a Thursday during lunch time and after school.
Junior Coaching currently takes place on Saturday afternoons for all ages and abilities. We also offer indoor tennis at Castell Alun on Mondays for 4-7 year olds at 4.30-5.30pm. Please see the timetable on the link below and a description of our sessions at the bottom of the page for more details.

We currently offer “pay as u go” coaching for Juniors of all ages and abilities on Saturday mornings. We also run junior courses on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and tennis camps during school holidays. LTA assistants help Mike with the sessions to ensure that we can provide the best coaching environment possible.

Fun parent and child session developing agility, balance and co-ordination, racket and ball skills.
At Mini Red players start developing the core skills of movement, coordination and basic technique. Players take part in lots of fun activities and play short matches and team competitions.
At this stage we continue technical and tactical development with lower compression balls using increased power and spin, as well as specific athletic skills. Competition is both individual and team-based.
Junior tennis caters for serious or social players. The whole court game is now being developed tactically and technically, using a normal ball. Competition is both individual and team based.
Focus group of up to 5 players. Individual attention in a small group. One of the best ways to improve your tennis rapidly. Our team can advise if this is the best group for your child.
These competiton squads are players who would like to start their competition journey and for players who enjoy competing in individual or / and team competitions both formally or informally.
